Description
Gladys Hottle Fravel as a young girl.
This appears to be a reproduction of an earlier image also created by Morrison Studios.
Gladys was the daughter of John Franklin (1868-1941), a farmer, and Cora Virginia (Wisman) Hottel (1873-1959).
She married John David Fravel (1887-1950) in Woodstock in June 1921. He was, the son of Joseph (1842-1909) and Catherine Victoria (Hottel) (1847-1892) Fravel.
In the 1930, 1940, and 1950 censuses, the couple lived with her parents in Woodstock. Her husband started out as a mechanic in his own shop, then was a repair mechanic in an Antiques shop, and, finally, listed as a carpenter in a factory.
Gladys and her husband had two daughters, Dorothy E. and Deanna M. Fravel.
