Anne Preston Crawford
Crawford, Anne Preston
Portrait of Anne Preston Crawford as a young woman. This photograph appears in the 1925 Strasburg High School Yearbook. She was a senior and the yearbook staff wrote this about her:
"... is the kind of girl we need more of in this world. She is good-natured, modest, domestic and yet in for all fun. She is one of the most popular students in the class. To say she is a member of the "Big Four" speaks for itself. She expects to take a course in kindergarten. We wonder if she will teach in Handley or Alexandria -- but where ever it may be, success is certain."
Anne had a brother, Jack Crawford.
