Florence was the daughter of James H. and Catherine (MIller) Hoover, a farming couple from the Edinburg area of the County.
She married Harry Franklin Reedy (1899-1976) in 1922. He lived in Woodstock at the time.
Tragically, Florence died during childbirth in 1931.

Photo of a photograph of Grover Allen Orndorff in his U.S. Army uniform.
Grover was from Zepp, Virginia, and the youngest of 11 children. His parents were Rhesa A. (1866-1949) and Emma S. (Hill) (1871-1953) Orndorff. His father farmed.
Grover served from 1942-1945 as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was wounded and received a Purple Heart, awarded for his WWII heroism.
After the war, he returned to Zepp where he lived when he married Charlotte Virginia Hyde (1930-1995) in 1948. Charlotte was born in Martinsburg to Braden and Eva Virginia (Reedy) Hyde. When she married Grover, she worked in a garment factory and lived in Woodstock.
The couple had two sons, Roger and Carlton Orndorff. As of 2003, both of his sons lived in the Cedar Creek Valley. Both Grover and his wife are buried in Zepp.

Wayne was born in in St. Luke, son of Jack and Flora (Miller) Wetzel. He married Helen (Baker) Wetzel in 1953. The couple had two daughters, Cathy W. (Wetzel) Reedy and Cindy W. (Wetzel) Fadeley.
He retired from VDOT in 1993 after 33 years.

Sheetz, Johanna Rosenberger (1872-1970)
Portrait of John William Sheetz and his wife, Johanna (Rosenberger) Sheetz when they were young.
John grew up in Calvary, near Woodstock, the son of Daniel Haun Sheetz (1842-1899) and Lydia (Phillips) Sheetz (1841-1897). He was a lifelong farmer and orchardist.
He married Johanna Rosenberger in October 1890. Johanna was the daughter of Joseph (1816-1908) and Margaret A. (Kibler) (1832-1921) Rosenberger.
In the 1900 and 1910 censuses, the couple lived in the Stonewall District of Shenandoah County and had no children. They had both finished the 7th grade. A young orphan, Edith Reedy (born ca 1897), lived with them as a child, but by 1940, the couple lived by themselves.
Johanna survived her husband by many years and both are buried together in the Calvary Church Cemetery near Woodstock.
