Before moving to Viriginia, Sylvia spent two years in Morocco, thanks to her husband’s career in the Navy. They moved into their new home on Masanutten Street in June 1974.
When not helping to renovate their home, Sylvia took a real estate course to add to her Master’s degree in international relations and her teachers’ certificate in education.
