It can seat over 150 people and is regularly filled with locals and visitors looking for a good meal. The social atmosphere is quite impressive with a large number of individuals gathering to share stories, memories, and gossip on a regular basis.

This institution was originally a family affair. The founders, Lloyd and Ruby Newland operated the restaurant for several decades. In 2005 they sold it to their son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Rebecca Newland who still operate the business.
