Ralph B. Crabill (1895-1963) was employed as a jeweler in Strasburg when he was drafted on October 4 1917. He deployed to France on June 7 1918 as part of the 80th Infantry Division. Ralph saw conflict in the Picardy Sector in July 1918, the St. Mihel Offensive in September 1918, and the Muese Argonne Offensive from September-November 1918. During the course of the war he rose from the rank of Private to Sergeant. He was discharged on June 7 1919 and returned to his position as a jeweler in Strasburg.
