Josephine became an invalid and died in her early 20's. Kathryn died as a child. His daughter, Rosalie, grew up on the MMA campus. In 1930, she married a doctor, William B. Noel, and moved with him first to Michigan and eventually to North Carolina where the couple raised two sons. John Frederick William Kitzmeyer was a Lutheran Minister who served at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock Virginia from 1905-1907. Born in Baltimore Maryland in 1868, Rev. Kitzmeyer died in Brooklyn NY in 1923. He graduated from Gettysburg College in 1890 and then Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary in 1893. Kitzmeyer was married to Annie Leith, April 20 1898. Rev. Peter Muhlenberg's robes are currently preserved at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia PA. Volunteers from the historical society worked over the next several decades to house, number, and scan each image. Through a partnership between the historical society and the Shenandoah County Library's Truban Archives access to a growing number of these images is available to the public. His son, Robert, graduated from MMA, served in the Navy during WWII, and later followed his father as headmaster of the school. His wife was Jean Rebecca Sine (1921-2002). Josephine became an invalid and died in her early 20's. Kathryn died as a child. His daughter, Rosalie, grew up on the MMA campus. In 1930, she married a doctor, William B. Noel, and moved with him first to Michigan and eventually to North Carolina where the couple raised two sons. In 1999 the Shenandoah County Historical Society acquired over 31,000 of these negatives from the estate of local collector Charles D. Bauserman. Volunteers from the historical society worked over the next several decades to house, number, and scan each image. This effort resulted in over two tons of Morrison plates and negatives being processed and digitized. This collection contains those digitized versions of these photographs. Through a partnership between the historical society and the Shenandoah County Library's Truban Archives access to a growing number of these images is available to the public. Current projections indicate the full collection will be available for viewing sometime in 2028.
