Ten years later, he was a presser in a coat factory. Ruth married Aubrey Harris Hough (born in Alabama) in 1957. She was a 22-year old Blue Bell employee and he was a 29-year old divorced telephone construction worker living in Edinburg. The marriage did not last. She married for the second time in 1969. Bobby Eugene Sorrells (1934-1996) was the son of Wallace Murry and Blanche Louise (Cherrix) Sorrells, from Edinburg. This was his third marriage. Bobby had served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 and worked for the Virginia State Highway Department. The couple spent more than twenty five years together before he died. Court Street in Woodstock after several years of working in the area as a travelling photographer. Between that time, and the time his grandson James Morrison closed the studio in 1988, the Morrison family captured thousands of portraits, landscapes, and buildings on film and glass negatives. In 1999 the Shenandoah County Historical Society acquired over 31,000 of these negatives from the estate of local collector Charles D. Bauserman. Volunteers from the historical society worked over the next several decades to house, number, and scan each image. This effort resulted in over two tons of Morrison plates and negatives being processed and digitized. This collection contains those digitized versions of these photographs. Through a partnership between the historical society and the Shenandoah County Library's Truban Archives access to a growing number of these images is available to the public. Current projections indicate the full collection will be available for viewing sometime in 2028. This collection does contain some images of a sexual and/or graphic nature that some viewers may find inappropriate. She was raised in Woodstock, the daughter of Wilbur Odell and Ann Trible (Hundley) Riley. In the 1940 census, the family lived on Commerce Street in Woodstock and her father was an automobile dealer. She married Arthur Grinnell “Butch” Lambiotte, the son of Arthur Joseph and Dorothy (Teese) Lambiotte, of Warwick, Virginia, in June 1958. One of the bridesmaids was Sally Ann French of Woodstock. At the time of her marriage, Susan had graduated from Fairfax Hall in Waynesboro, Virginia, and had attended Lynchburg College, the University of North Carolina, and was attending Westhampton College of the University of Richmond, where she graduated in 1959. Susan was a teacher and educator in the Shenandoah County school system, as well as schools in Newport News, and York County, Virginia. In 1993, she established the Kumon Math and Reading Center, in Poquoson, Virginia. When she died, she left behind four children: Kenny, Walker, Ann and Clay.
