Ernest was from Edinburg and married Erva Lorraine (Peer) Wisman (1896-1987) in 1924.
During his life, he worked as an insurance salesman, teacher, and, during prohibition, as a Federal agent with the Department of the Treasury.
We believe this image was one of two produced for Ernest Wisman's Federal Prohibition Agent identification card
He had two sons, Douglas Peer and William Robert Wisman.
