Cliff Fuller, Jr., was born in Taunton, Massachusetts, to Clifford Leroy Sr. (1902-1972) and Laura May (Artz) (1907-1993). Massachusetts was where his father was from, but by 1930, the family had moved to Woodstock, where his mother was from, and where they stayed many years.
Cliff had a brother, Robert Fuller.
Cliff’s father became a Virginia State Police Officer.
Cliff Fuller, Jr., married Ellen Fleming French (1930-2020) in 1957. She was the fifth of eight children born to Warren B. and Lena (Sheetz) French.
Soon after, the young couple moved to Orlando, Florida, where he worked as an engineer at Martin Marietta for 42 years. Both he and his wife were actively involved in the Orlando community, and were married 50 years before he died.
The couple had four children – Susan, Thomas, Richard, and Margaret.
