He was the son of Thomas Fletcher (1878-1913) and Ollie Belle (Carrier) (1877-1947) Golliday. In 1934, Thomas married Emma Lou Stoner (1909-2004) in Woodstock. The couple had 3 sons: Thomas Lew and twins Samuel Stoner and John Stoner Golladay.
Thomas worked as a jeweler in Woodstock.
