From Strasburg, his parents were Martin F. and Mary (Sloan) Wright.

He was the Postmaster for many years, and lived at the corner of Fort and Queen Streets in town.

His wife was Mary (Zea) Wright.

Contributor

Identified in 2007 by Graham Conner, who remembered that Mr. Wright "took him to task in 1936 for wearing a sunflower on a Roosevelt button," most likely a derogative associated with supporting FDR's presidential campaign.
