Donna Wolfe and her husband purchased the Mt. Jackson Mick or Mack Grocery Store in 1973. She managed the stores’ finances and covered empty shifts. Her average workweek exceeded 64 hours.
Donna worked to renovate the couple’s home in downtown Mt. Jackson, collected antiques, and make clothes for herself and her two daughters. She was also an avid tennis player and camper.
