Rachel, or Marie as she was commonly known, was born to Earl and Zula Alice (Jordan) Robinson. She grew up and married in the Mt. Jackson area.
She married Thomas Lee Coffman from Elkins, West Virginia. His parents were Raymond Hannibal and Veatrice Ella (Hoover) Coffman.
