Nancy grew up in Strasburg, the daughter of Richard "Dick" Arthur and Flora Minette (Pirkey) Campbell.
She had at least two sisters, Mary Frances Campbell (1913-1949) and Jane Campbell.
Her husband was Calvin Marshall Fox, Sr. (1916-2005), originally from Front Royal in Warren County.
Both Nancy and her husband are buried together in Woodstock.
