Description
Photograph taken by William Hoyle Garber showing an aerial view of a series of poultry houses soon after construction. They are located on the west side of US Route 11 just north of New Market Virginia. The structures were built by H.B. Long of New Market sometime in the late 1940s. At the time they were rumored to be one of the largest chicken houses in the world. Today it is abandoned.
