Letter:
Dear Mother & All,
I don’t know if you are getting my letters or not. I haven’t heard from you the in the last few days so I don’t know what to say. I’m sitting here in the library trying to think and write all at the same time. The work isn’t bad but the hours are rather long. I go to work at 08:00 and get off around 9 thirty or ten o’clock one nite and 7 o’clock the next. Of course I have to get up at 6 and stand inspection at seven thirty.
I like the company and the officers fine and of course I like my job. I’m just writing this note to see what had been wrong. I‘ll write more when I have time probably tomorrow. Don’t worry if I ever get so sick I can’t write I’ll have someone to do it for me.
Love,
Joe
