Letter:

I guess you are worrying about me again. Well Stop and you can stop for a good while this time. I have been transferred again and I’m out of the 4th and I’ll probably be home before I see any more combat. But don’t get your hopes up for I’ll be here for ten or twelve months at least. I like it fine and we have barracks and hot showers instead of tents. You know I think Jayne owes me a letter even if she doesn’t know it for I wrote her some time ago. Maybe she didn’t get it, anyway give her my address and tell her to write. I have to go on watch tonite so I had better get some rest. I’ll write more later.
Love to all,
Joe
