Hercules was charged and convicted of assaulting Mrs. Thomas Hall on the night of September 23, 1814. His conviction was on October 1, 1814, and he was hanged at the courthouse on November 11, 1814. Hercules was valued at $400, which was paid to his enslaver, Thomas Fox.
