On March 13, 1830, Harry was charged with attempted rape of Martha Samberson, while he was employed by Benjamin Blackford.
On April 13 of that year, the court found Harry not guilty after hearing the testimony of a defense witness. Harry was discharged, and the court ordered David Henderson (Harry's enslaver) to pay Harry's attorney $15.
