My uncles loved to come here to have a beer. I was too young for that. But they had excellent hamburgers. For quite awhile, Murdock's restaurant was just a bit north. That's been gone for decades. It had a similar menu.
When the Virginian truck stop off 181 opened in the early 1970s it was pretty much the end for these rt 11 holdovers. However, 2020s seem to show a comeback for the rt 11 corridor.
