Letter:
I haven’t much time so I’ll just send a few lines. So far I like it fine the food’s not bad and I haven’t any complaints, tomorrow I lose my hair ain’t that fierce? Tell everyone I’ll have plenty of time later to write but not now. I got my uniform and first taste of drill today and it’s not too bad will write a lot more when I get time. I have to [illegible] and clean my rifle now. Love Joe
