Letter:
Dear Family,
I am sending a few more lines to let you know I’m all right. The guys are playing a mouth harp and all seem happy. I guess I’ll get music I don’t [know?] I like it just fine here and I guess I will get the feel of it all soon. I like both of my DI’s and my corporal the(y) are good fellows. I got my hair all cut off today and have a blister on my foot but I can stand that ok, someday I’ll cause someone else to have them. That’s all folk(s) tell everyone I’ll write soon. Love Joe
