Letter:

Marshall Islands
(Namur)
Dear Family,
I am safe and feel pretty good. We landed on Namur and cleaned the devils out with the help of God and good weapons. Mother if prayers are answered I’m sure mine were. Tell all my girls I’m ok, cause this is all I can write at present. I really look like hell, need a shave and bath pretty bad. Think I’ll keep my mustache until I get home.
Don’t worry and I’ll write again, ,soon.
Lots of love to All,
Joe
P.S. Bet Togo is unhappy.
