Naomi lived in Strasburg, where her husband worked for Viscose
until his retirement due to illness. When not caring for him, Naomi spent time creating decorations and baking.
The grandmother of six became so talented at baking, that she made a name for herself. In 1973 alone, she baked over 350 cakes. Her cakes included wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and a cake that looked like Toms Brook Elementary School.
