Group photograph of Pleasant Grove School's class of 1911-1912.
Zelia Mae Hoover Wakeman is the first girl on the left in the second (middle) row. Beside her, second from the left, with a white ribbon in her hair, is Lena (Stultz) Bubb.
Esta Belle Gochenour appears in the same middle row, third from the right.
The other students are unidentified.
Pleasant Grove School was located in the Alonzaville community on Route 676 (Fravel Road) between Back Road and Alonzaville Road.

Zelia Mae Hoover Wakeman was identified in 2002 by her daughter, Maxine Burkholder who had this photograph in postcard form. Her mother attended Pleasant Grove School through the 7th grade and remembered the teacher's name was Perry F. Crabill.
Esta Belle Gochenour was identified by Wayne E. Smith, grandson of the subject, in 2024.
Lena Stultz Bubb was identified in 2025 by her great-nephew, P.M. Fravel.
