Photograph of the school building in Mt. Herman, Virginia.

It was built in 1922 and was a two-story building with two rooms on each floor.

The school stood on the north side of Route 807 near Basye. It closed in May 1959 and the property was sold to a neighbor, Mr. Turner Barb, for $2,100.
