Description

Photograph of a group of unidentified workmen in downtown Woodstock Virginia.

Behind them can be seen a trench and water pipe, indicating they were the workmen installing the town's first water system which was completed in 1901.

The photograph was taken at near the intersection of Court and Main Streets with the Historic Shenandoah County Courthouse to the rear of the photographer.
