George was the son of George C. (1834-1919) and Matilda Catherine (Fadely) (1842-1919) Rhinehart.
He married Alberta Mae “Bertie” (Carrier) Rhinehart (1878-1951) circa 1897.
When he registered for the WWI draft in 1918, George was a farmer and lived with his wife in rural Woodstock. He farmed there for much of his life. In later years, he also sold insurance.
The couple raised a daughter, Virginia May (Rinehart) Rutz (1916-2002), as well as a nephew, Stanley Golladay Rhinehart (1909-1990). Stanley’s mother was Bertie’s sister.
