Description

Vesper Hall is located near Strasburg on Route 55 very close to the I-81 interchange and across the road from the old Capon Road Depot. This stately home was built circa 1860 by Jacob Pifer and, by 1885, was used as a hotel. William Rupp, a locally known artist, painted a fresco in the parlor of the house.

As of 2022, the house still stands and is a private residence.
