This photo would have been taken adjacent to the "Ford & Cooley Dairy" located on what was known as Dr. Ford Road. Today it's called Chapman Landing Road. The photographer would have been standing just southeast of the farm complex along the bend in the road. This is the same farm where the swinging bridge crosses the river, just down the hill from the former Dorothy's Inn.
