Correction to John Hoffman provided in 2026 by Gregory Hoffman, a cousin of the subject. This was confirmed by library staff.

This is actually John HOFFMAN, and he was my first cousin. His father was James Benton Hoffman, and his mother was May L. Orndorff Hoffman.
