Portrait photograph of Dr. F. Wilson Gearing, Sr., a well-known physician from Woodstock.
His parents were Marcellus and Mary (Santmiers) Gearing. Frank Wilson Gearing, Sr., was born in about 1892 and married his first wife, Bertha Whalley in 1917. They had three sons together: Frank Gearing Jr., Edward Marcellous Gearing, and John Kingdon Gearing.
Bertha died in 1966 and Dr. Gearing married again in 1971 to Jessie Smoot. He died in 1978
