Marvin Whiten Bowman as a young boy leaning on the edge of a chair.
Marvin was the son of Kirby Jacob and Nellie (Guiletta) Bowman.
He served on the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors in the late 1940's.
He had two wives. The first was Georgia Blanche (Helbert) Bowman (1901-1938) who he married in 1924. The couple had two children, Nancye Leona and William Byron Bowman, before she died.
Marvin's second wife was Luella (Swann) Clem Borden (1908-1982) who he married in 1946.
