From Strasburg, his parents were Martin F. and Mary (Sloan) Wright.

He was the Postmaster in Strasburg for many years, and lived at the corner of Fort and Queen Streets in town.

His wife was Mary (Zea) Wright.

The glass plate negative of this image was stored in a box labeled "1933".

Contributor

Identified in 2010 by Graham Conner, who remembered that Mr. Wright gave him a "talking to" for wearing a Landon sunflower on a Roosevelt button," most likely a comment associated with the 1936 Presidential election.
