Dr. Wisman was the son of Ernest and Eva Lorraine (Peer) Wisman.
He went to Edinburg High School.
He married Betty Ellen (Bowman) Wisman in 1954 and settled in Woodstock where he practiced optometry. Together, the couple raised four children: Scott, Ellen David and Laura Wisman.
The name, "Douglas Wisman", is written on the glass plate of this image.
