Laughlin, George William "Dick" (1896-1978)

Description

Portrait photograph of Dick Laughlin as a young man in a suit and tie.

He was the son of William S. and Lucy M. (Jenkins) Laughlin.

Dick served in a U.S. Army in World War One (WWI) and was wounded in France.

The Shenandoah Herald Newspaper published a letter on 10 January 1919 that he wrote to his mother from the American Base hospital there.

His wife was Sudie Dorcas (Fleming) Laughlin.
