Photograph of an unnamed newspaper item titled, "Cake Washing".

The image shows Kirby Racey standing in the American Viscose plant in Front Royal.

The newspaper caption reads, "Kirby Racey looks after the pump pressure on the big cake washing apparatus. He also sees that the "top hats" are tight. These hold cakes in place on the units."

Kirby was employed at the American Viscose Corporation in Front Royal, Virginia for 25 years.
