Photograph of the inscribed plaque that is attached to the exterior wall of St. Paul's Reformed Church in Woodstock, Virginia.

The plaque reads:

Reformed Church in the United States
Synod of the Potomac
Classis of Virginia

St. Paul's Reformed Church Woodstock, Virginia

Members of the Reformed Church were among the first settlers of the Shenandoah Valley.

The Rev. Michael Schlatter, Superintendent of Missions, visited a Reformed congregation here on May 11, 1748.

The Classis of Virginia was organized in the original church located near here in May 1825.

The Centennial anniversary was observed here in May 1925.

The final meeting of the Classis after its incorporation in the Potomac Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church was held here in May, 1940.

This tablet was dedicated as a memorial by the Classis of Virginia at its final meeting.
