His parents were Mantonia and Gertie Selena (Mumaw) Dellinger.
Clyde married Esther Frances Foltz (1916-2002).
When he registered for the WWII draft, they lived in Conicville and he worked for W.W. Shields in Columbia Furnace.
By 1950, the couple had four children -- Claudette, Wilbur, Douglas and Carolyn. Clyde worked in a textile plant and the family still lived in the Conicville area.
