Early photograph of the two-story home at the corner of Court and Muhlenberg Streets in Woodstock.
A horse drawn carriage is out front and there are unidentified people on the porch.
The home belonged to the Chapman family for many years. Hunter B. Chapman worked as the B&O agent in Woodstock, Virginia, until 1936. He was also instrumental in the creation of Shenandoah Caverns and served as their President from 1920 until his death in 1942.
Sometimes, it is referred to as the "Marshall House".
As of 2025, it is the Woodstock Museum.
