This restaurant/bar was located on the eastern side of US Route 11 near the intersection of what became W. King and Stover Ave.

The building sat along the edge a cliff and overlooked W. Queen Street, hence the name "The Drop Over."

The owner of the business was G.S. Chapman.

The words, "The Tavern", "Strasburg Va.", and "G.S. Chapman, Prop." are painted in the lower left of the image.
