Photo of two separate photographs of the Douglas E. Lindamood, Sr., in his police uniform.
He was the son of Cletus R. and Bertha (Collins) Lindamood.
He attended Triplett Elementary, Central High School, and Lord Fairfax Community College.
This photograph was taken while he was an officer of the Woodstock Town Police force. He also worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Shenandoah County and spent many years as a management consultant in the Poultry Industry.
Doug's wife was Ellen Diane (Irby) Lindamood. Together, they raised sons: Doug Jr., Sam, and Tyler Byrne Lindamood.
On the left side, he is wearing a pair of glasses. On the right side, he is not. The patch on his shoulder says, 'Woodstock Virginia Police - A time to pray, a time to fight - Peter Muhlenberg founded 1752".
