Description

Portrait photograph of Robert "Bobby" H. Morrison wearing his U.S. Army uniform.

He was the son of Hugh Morrison Jr., the photographer, and his wife, Grace (Johnson) Morrison. He grew up in Woodstock with many siblings.

He is remembered for having worked at the Woodstock Garage for many years.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II, from 1942 to 1945.

In 1947, he married Frances Vernon Beidler, the daughter of Charles Carroll and Clara (Baker) Beidler.

At the time of his marriage, he worked as a bookkeeper and parts man at Woodstock Garage. His wife was a clerk and bookkeeper in Beidler's furniture store.

He spent his life in Woodstock and when he died, his death certificate noted his last residence was on Hollingsworth Road and that he was a retired officer of an "automobile dealership".
