Irvin Incorporated was established by George E. Irvin, and his business partner, J.I. Triplett, in 1884, as a farm equipment retailer. It transitioned to a wholesale distributor of, eventually, stationery and office supplies, drugs and druggist sundries, confectionary, and tobacco products.
The business was located on Route 11 just north of Edinburg and shut down in December 2009.
The building still stands.
