Freddie was the son of John Thomas and Dolly Dimple (Frye) Dalton of Woodstock.
He married Martha Irene (Huss) Dalton in 1975. They raised two children: Frederick John "Rick" Dalton, Jr. and Elizabeth "Beth" Paige Dalton.
He was an Air Force veteran and retired Army veteran, having served during Desert Storm. After, he worked as a lab technician with Stowe-Woodward Research in Middletown. He was active in his Woodstock community.
This photograph was used as his senior class picture in the 1965 Central High School Yearbook.
