Photo of two separate portrait photographs of Elvin Carl Walker, a lifelong resident of Shenandoah County.
Elvin was a well-known farmer from Woodstock, but is best remembered for having served as the Shenandoah County Treasurer from 1964 until 1991. He was very active in the community.
He was born in St. Luke to Carl M. and Lena Mae (Coffman) Walker.
In 1953, he married Betty Sager. They raised two children, George Lee Walker and Marsha Ann Walker.
