Photo of two separate portrait photographs of Larry Gene Crider as a young man in a suit and tie.

Born in Harrisonburg, his parents were Glenn Elwood and Nellie Hamman (Lonas) Crider.

Larry graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Quicksburg, Virginia, in 1961.

A few years later, in 1967, he married Diana Lee Showman in Mt. Jackson. At the time she worked as a clerk in a drug store.

Larry was a self-employed barber, a vocation he worked at all his life.

The image on the left has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.

Identified in 2020 by William "Bill" T. Scott had had his own hair cut by Larry a few times. He also saw Larry in Edinburg a year or two prior to his identification. Larry was still cutting hair.
