Description
Fraktur commemorating the birth of Elizabeth Rinker of Shenandoah County.
The Fraktur is dated 1835 and reads:
"To This Couple Wilhelm Rinker and His Wife Sarah Whose Maiden Name is Painter (Bender) Was Born Into This World A Daughter, Year of the Lord 1835 The Second Day of September.
This Daughter Was Born in Shenandoah County in the State of Virginia in North America, Was Baptized by Reverend George Stalin and Was Given the Name of Elizabeth. The Witness Were Her Parents."
J.W. Uebenfelett is identified as the creator.
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rinker was born September 2 1835 near Edinburg Virginia. She married Harrison Lindamood and died June 23 1888. She is buried in the Hawkinstown community.
The Fraktur is dated 1835 and reads:
