He was the son of Adam and Minnie (Foltz) Burnshire.
His wife was Lelia Irene (Coffman) Burnshire (1904-1997). He married her in 1939.
The image on the left has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.
A similar photograph to these appears in the 1964 Stonewall Jackson High School yearbook.
